Indian Times: Cherokee Nation Responds to Freedmen Dispute (Mar 28, 2008)
On "Indian Times" this weekend, Cherokee Nation spokesperson Mike Miller talks about the Freedmen issue, and the possible consequences of tribal termination for Cherokee and non-Cherokee Oklahomans. Also, KGOU's Kurt Gwartney reports on the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma receiving a $250,000 grant from the US Fish and Wildlife Service for the further management of its Grey Snowy Eagle House, a rehab for the birds.
