Indian Times: Native Superdelegate Supports Obama (May 10, 2008)
On Indian Times this weekend, superdelegate and Oklahoma Choctaw Kalyn Free throws her support behind Democratic candidate Barack Obama. Free is the founder of the Indigenous Democratic Network, otherwise known as INDN?s List, a support organization for Native American candidates running for public office. Also, the Muscogee Creek Nation?s Lighthorse Tribal Police enter into a partnership with the US Drug Enforcement Agency. And Kurt Gwartney reports on the Cherokee Nation?s intentions to go into the information technology business.
