Indian Times: Most Decorated Native Soldier Inducted Into Military Hall of Fame (Nov 18, 2008)
This week on Indian Times, the most decorated Native American soldier is inducted into the Oklahoma Military Hall of Fame posthumously. His name was 1st Sargeant Pascal Cletus Poolaw Sr., from the Kiowa Nation. Host Susan Shannon speaks with his younger brother, Ralph Poolaw Jr., about his brotherís remarkable record of serving in World War II, the Korean War and Vietnam.

The Oklahoma Southern Baptists have elected their first Native American president, the Reverend Doctor Emerson Falls. Falls speaks about the election process and what his election means for native Baptists.

On November 22nd in Anadarko a Fall Benefit Powow for the Anadarko Indian Education Assocation will take place in the Oklahoma Street Gym from 2 to 11 pm.
