Indian Times: Elouise Cobell hopeful Obama Administration will settle lawsuit (Feb 16, 2009)
This week on Indian Times - Elouise Cobell, the lead plaintiff in a class action lawsuit against the federal government for mismanagement of Individual Indian Trust accounts, released a statement last week on the case. For more information go to www.indiantrust.com

The Jacobson House in Norman is holding a special theatrical re-enactment about Oscar Jacobson and the Kiowa Five. Dean of the OU Art School Andrew Phelan will portray Oscar Jacobson and an all-native cast will portray the Kiowa Five. The Kiowa Five were actually six, there was one woman artist, Lois Smoky. She will be portrayed by her descendant, Maya Torralba. There will be two performances on Friday, February 20th. For tickets and information call 366-1667
