Indian Times: Dr. Gerard Baker speaks at Oklahoma History Museum (Mar 02, 2009)
This week on Indian Times, we will be speaking with Indian historian Dr. Gerard Baker. He is a Mandan-Hidatsa born on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation in North Dakota. He is the superintendant for the Mount Rushmore National Memorial. and has been with the National Park Service for 32 years. He came last week to speak at the Oklahoma History Center on the Development of Indian Territory. Host Susan Shannon got the chance to speak with him before his public lecture. He is pictured above being interviewed by the local media.
