Indian Times: The Oklahoma Anti-Discriminatory Mascots Act Fails (Mar 16, 2009)
This week on Indian Times, we will be talking about the rise and fall of Senate Bill 765, the Oklahoma Anti-Discriminatory Mascots Act. Long-time activist and president of the Morning Star Institute in Washington D.C. Suzan Shown Harjo (Cheyenne/Hodulgee Muscogee) talks about the effects of native-themed mascots on native and non-native children.
