This week on Indian Times, President Obama extends an invitation to all Native American tribal leaders to come to the Nov. 5th White House Tribal Nations Conference. It will be broadcast on MyTribeTV.

The Choctaw Nation is hosting its second annual Ivy League and Friends Student Recruitment Gala. It begins at 6pm on Saturday, Nov. 7th at the Choctaw Event Center in Durant, Oklahoma. Representatives from Harvard, Yale, Dartmouth and Columbia will be there to talk with prospective students. The 14th Annual Allie Reynolds Memorial Red Earth Golf Tournament will be held today, Monday, October 26th at the Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club. Registration begins at 11am. Allie Reynolds was a Creek/Cherokee who pitched in the major leagues for the Cleveland Indians and the New York Yankees.
