Indian Times: Kiowa Tribe To Vote on November 7th (Oct 30, 2009)
In 1934 the Indian Nations of Oklahoma were mandated by the government to adopt constitutions and form their own governments. But as we all know, that?s easier said than done, and no one knows that better than the Kiowa Constitution Revision Committee, also known as the KCRC. KCRC committee member Warren Queton says it may be just fear of change. Some of that fear of change is reflected on the ballot for the November 7th vote.
