Indian Times: Stalking Awareness for Native Americans (Feb 01, 2010)
This week on Indian Times, January is National Stalking Awareness Month, and according to statistics, Native Americans and Alaska natives are stalked more than any other minority group. Dr Ann Dapice talks about the need for more research into this area. Dapice is Cherokee and a member of the Lenape Nation of Pennsylvania. She is the Director of Education and Research for T.K. Wolf, Inc., an American Indian non-profit organization. If you or someone you know has been stalked, take the survey by going to Integrated Concepts Inc, select Services, then select Stalking Survey, enter password: Tides_Foundation, then hit submit. The survey should come up and it's anonymous. If you have trouble you can call Dr. Dapice at 918-396-1467 or go to their website www.tkwolf.com.
