Oklahoma Voices: Governor Brad Henry Previews the 2008 OK Legislative Session (Feb 16, 2008)
This week on Oklahoma Voices, we’re airing a recent press conference the Governor held at the capitol as part of the annual Associated Press Legislative Forum. The informal question and answer session with members of the media included wide-ranging discussions on topics such as ethics reform, illegal immigration, pay raises for teachers and state employees and the legacy of former House Speaker Lance Cargill. Henry also used the occasion to introduce his program to pair at-risk students with mentors known as “graduation coaches.”
