Oklahoma Voices: Kiowa Author N. Scott Momaday 2008 OK Humanities Award Winner (Aug 18, 2008) This week on Oklahoma Voices, we hear excerpts from Kiowa author N. Scott Momaday's speech at the Oklahoma History Center in Oklahoma City last February. He's the recipient of the 2008 Oklahoma Humanities Award, presented by the Oklahoma Humanities Council. Introducing him is Dr. Lars Engle, Chair of the English Department at the University of Tulsa. Momaday remains the only Native American to win the Pulitzer Prize, for his novel House Made of Dawn.
