Oklahoma Voices: The Oklahoma City Bombing, 15 Years Later (Mar 29, 2010)
Fifteen years ago, an explosion in downtown Oklahoma City changed the face of terrorism for the nation. Over the next four weeks, we will bring you the stories of the survivors of the Murrah Federal Building bombing in their own words. The recordings come from the First Person: Stories of Hope Series presented each summer at the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum. This episode features Richard Williams, who spent 27 years of his career managing and maintaining the federal building. We also hear the story of Amy Petty, who worked at a credit union in the building.
