Displaced General Motors Worker Considers Her Options (Mar 20, 2006)
GM’s decision to stop production at its Oklahoma City plant came as both a surprise and a blow to its 2400 assembly line workers. Most had worked at the facility for nearly three decades and are now in their early 50s, so they’re having a difficult time deciding what to do now. Helen Reid’s story is typical.
