Oklahoma House Speaker Todd Hiett tells KGOU that the fact that this is an election year will likely make it harder to forge agreements on key issues, but he plans to stay focused and is open to dialogue. As term limits force him to step down from the legislature after twelve years, he says he’s proud of what he’s been able to accomplish, and he’s looking forward optimistically to his run for Lieutenant Governor (4 minutes).
