Poker and Blackjack One Year Later (Feb 03, 2006)
Friday marked one year since poker and blackjack became legal at Oklahoma’s tribal casinos. Voters approved the card games, along with the installation of slot machines at state racetracks in a November, 2004 ballot referendum. Ten percent of the revenue is earmarked for education. State Finance Director Claudia San Pedro gives KGOU an update on the success of the card games (4 minutes).
