Gay Rights Group Asks Court to Invalidate OK Adoption Law (Dec 09, 2005)
The gay rights defense group Lambda Legal has filed papers asking a court to strike down an Oklahoma law that prohibits recognition of adoptions made by same sex couples in other states and countries. Guests include Republican State Senator James Williamson of Tulsa, who authored the original amendment; Anne Magro and Heather Finstuen, same sex parents of seven-year-old twin girls and Lambda Legal Attorney Brian Chase.
