Roads and Bridges: Identifying the Problem (Aug 23, 2005) One of the ways the Oklahoma Department of Transportation identifies problem areas on its 12-thousand miles of highways is with the help of a Canadian company called Roadware. It uses lasers, gyroscopes and other high-tech equipment to chronicle the condition of every inch of pavement on Oklahoma’s major thoroughfares. ARAN drivers Michael and Keyon describe how the vehicle works (4:00). ![]() « back ![]() |
