Grand Opening of Oklahoma History Center Museum (Nov 18, 2005)
After five years of construction, the 54 million dollar Oklahoma History Center officially opens to the public on Saturday, November 19th. It’s located on 18 acres of land just east of the State Capitol and includes some 2000 artifacts as well as interactive exhibits, a research library, newspaper archives, café and gift shop. KGOU gets a sneak preview with Oklahoma Historical Society Public Relations Director Michael Dean (4:00).
