![]() ![]() Democratic Speaker of the US House Nancy Pelosi is considering a one-year moratorium on all earmarks in order to take the issue away from Republicans in this election year. House Appropriations Committee David Obey has sent a “Dear Colleague” letter to all House members polling them on whether they want to rescind earmark requests this year. And Colorado Democrat Mark Udall has announced that he will not seek any pork spending. We find out whether Oklahoma’s lawmakers are willing to give up the bacon and what projects in our state will have to go without federal dollars. Todd Zwillich reports from Washington.
