An Interview with GOP Gubernatorial Candidate Bob Sullivan (Jul 17, 2006)
Bob Sullivan describes himself as "the only non-lawyer running for Governor." He's a Tulsa businessman who's spent 35 years working in the oil and gas industry and served as Secretary of Energy under former Governor Frank Keating. In his campaign, he's called for lawsuit reform measures and cuts to wasteful government spending, spoken out in support of the Taxpayers Bill of Rights and advocated an initiative for 65% of every education dollar to be spent inside the classroom. We speak with Sullivan about his run for office and his series of controversial television ads attacking one of his opponents, US Representative Ernest Istook. We’ll speak with Istook tomorrow (19 minutes).
