You may not have heard of him, but Andrew Marr is running for the Democratic nomination for Governor against incumbent Brad Henry. He’s a Norman inventor and design engineer who says Oklahoma politics is rife with corruption and wasteful spending. Among his campaign platform are pledges to dramatically raise teachers’ salaries, eliminate the homestead real estate property tax, streamline the workers’ compensation process and provide universal healthcare for Oklahoma citizens.
