Four Sheets to the Wind (Nov 30, -0001)
American Indian Heritage Month gets it start with the screening of a 2007 Sundance Award Winning Film, Four Sheets to the Wind. The American Indian Cultural Center and Museum, the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, the Oklahoma Film and Music Office, and the Sundance Institute Art House Project have joined together for the screening. Director Sterlin Harjo - Muscogee (Creek) & Seminole Oklahoma Producer Chad Burris - Chickasaw Oklahoma Actor Richard Ray Whitman (Euchee Muscogee Creek) will be on hand for the Nov. 1 Noble Theatre screening at 7:30 p.m. Whitman came into the KGOU studios to discuss his contribution to the movie, including the challenge of speaking an indigenous language that was new to him.
