![]() ![]() Koran Comments Draw Fire (Nov 14, 2007) Some lawmakers in Oklahoma have turned down free copies of the Koran from a state panel on diversity. The move comes after a Tulsa legislator claims the Muslim holy book condones the killing of innocent people. Islamic groups say they're disturbed by the statement and say they need to do a better job of educating Americans about the Koran.
