Re-examining Earmarks (Nov 28, 2007)
Before leaving Washington for its two week holiday break, Oklahoma’s primarily Republican Congressional delegation voted against the 150 billion dollar Labor Health and Human Services bill. Many agreed with the President that it was simply too expensive and contained too many earmarks. Guests include Senator Tom Coburn, Representatives Mary Fallin and Dan Boren and Steve Ellis of the group Taxpayers for Common Sense (4:00).
