Iraq Deployment Affects
OK Soldier’s Entire Family (Jan 01, 2008)

After spending the holidays at home with their friends and families, 2400 members of the Oklahoma National Guard’s 45th Infantry Brigade head back to Fort Bliss, Texas this week on their way to a ten month deployment to Iraq. One of the soldiers leaving today is Lt. Col. David Jordan. As part of our occasional series following members of the 45th, we speak with Jordan and his wife Melinda about how their family will cope with the deployment and what it will be like.
