Shakeup in the OKC School System (Jan 09, 2008) This Monday, the Oklahoma City School Board voted to suspend Superintendent John Q. Porter with pay amid allegations that he improperly spent district money for personal use and approved a no-bid contract for a district reading program. He’s adamantly denied those charges and will have a chance to respond at a Board hearing on February 6th. Oklahoma Gazette reporter Emily Jerman joins us to review the developments of the past week.
