A Conversation with an Embedded Oklahoma Journalist in Iraq (Feb 11, 2008)
Oklahoma Gazette Staff Writer Ben Fenwick is no stranger to reporting from the frontlines. In 2004, he embedded with the Oklahoma National Guard's 45th Infantry Brigade in Afghanistan, and a year later he followed members of the guard as they provided security in New Orleans in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. This time he's followed the 45th to Iraq, where he'll spend several weeks interviewing Oklahoma soldiers for the Gazette and its website.
