From the classic barbershop quartets of the early 1900s to the Andrews Sisters, the Beatles and Boyz To Men and beyond… vocal harmonizers have amazed with their technique and chops. Tonight an amazingly able trio of harmonizers known as Girlyman will demonstrate their mastery of the time-honored musical tradition with a performance scheduled for 8pm at the Norman Institute for the Performing Arts. The group dropped by today to visit with KGOU’s Jim Johnson and show off a bit of their craft.
