In-Depth: Infant Drowning Prevention (May 08, 2009)
Last month, a toddler fell into a Koi pond near Stanley Draper Lake and nearly drowned. And as temperatures increase and the storms clear out, Oklahoma families will be spending more time outside, increasing the danger for children and water. That's one reason why Harvey Barnett travels the country teaching parents and medical professionals about child drowning and ways to prevent it. The other reason Barnett founded the organization Infant Swimming Resource came much earlier in his life.
