Chesapeake Makes China Deal (Oct 11, 2010)
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Oklahoma City-based Chesapeake has announced a deal with China's state-owned offshore oil and gas company. CNOOK Ltd. has bought a one-third interest in 600,000 acres of Chesapeake Energy leases in a South Texas oil and gas field. The deal is worth up to $2.16 billion.
