Purcell Man Appeals Execution Sentence (Oct 12, 2010)
NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — A state court is scheduled to hear oral arguments today in an appeal for a Purcell man who's sentenced to die for the murder of a 10-year-old girl. Kevin Underwood told investigators he lured the girl to his apartment in 2006, suffocated her, assaulted her and then tried to cut off her head.
