Public Employee Injury Rates Up Slightly (Oct 15, 2010)
The state Labor Commission is reporting a slight increase in the number of public sector workers injured in 2009.
There were 10-thousand-200 public employees hurt on-the-job according to the survey released yesterday.
Nearly three-quarters of those injured work in local government, while just more than a quarter of hurt employees work for the state.
