OSBI Assists in Langston Shooting Probe (Oct 15, 2010)

LANGSTON, Okla. (AP) — The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says one student was shot and another was injured during an altercation at Langston University.

OSBI officials say two shots were fired into a crowd of people just after 7 p.m. Thursday at the school.

Twenty-one-year-old Jordan Hunter was treated for a gunshot wound to the leg at an Oklahoma City hospital and released, but another student who was kicked in the head was transported in serious condition to a hospital. His name wasn't released.

Officials say school Police Chief Michael Storr arrested Michael Vaughn in connection with the shooting. He remained in the Logan County Jail on Friday but no formal charges had been filed.

OSBI investigators say two other men are being sought for questioning.
