Public Employees Group Wants End to Corrections Furloughs (Oct 19, 2010)
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — The state workers union is warning lawmakers that prison employee furloughs are creating a dangerous situation that could lead to a "public safety nightmare." The Oklahoma Public Employees Association wants legislative leaders to approve $9 million in supplemental funding to stop the furloughs.
