Indian Times: Photos by Annette Ross Hume from turn-of-the-century Oklahoma (Oct 30, 2010) This week on Indian Times, the photographs of Annette Ross Hume are the subject of a new book called Life at the Kiowa, Comanche and Wichita Agency.  Hume came with her husband, Dr Charles Hume, to Oklahoma in 1890 when he was hired on to be the “Agency  Physician†to what was then called the Anadarko Agency.  We speak with John Lovett, co-author of the book. Lovett is curator of the Western History Collections at the University of Oklahoma.
