OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Four counties in eastern Oklahoma had the state's highest unemployment rates in September.

Figures show the jobless rate in Latimer and McCurtain counties reached 10.4 percent.

The rates in LeFlore and Sequoyah counties were 9.6 percent, the same as the national average.

The statewide rate dipped to 6.9 percent in September.
