Two Members of Norman Family Due for Sentencing (Nov 22, 2010)

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - Two members of a Norman family who pleaded guilty to drug charges and a third person who pleaded guilty in the case are due for sentencing.

Zacharry and Jeremy Compton and Lindi Applegate are scheduled for sentencing Monday in federal court in Oklahoma City.

The Compton's parents - Steve and Deborah Compton - are awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty earlier this year to conspiring to distribute the painkiller OxyContin. The Compton's brother - Josh Compton - also pleaded guilty and was sentenced last week to four years in prison.

The Norman Transcript reports that the investigation began after a confidential informant told police that Josh Compton was "the primary OxyContin dealer in Norman." Prosecutors say the drug was sold many times from the family's heat and air business.
