Oklahoma Voices: Native American Heritage Month edition (Nov 22, 2010)
In honor of Native American Heritage month,  Oklahoma Voices feature three Native Americans.  The first is a former Miss Oklahoma, Susan Supernaw (Muscogee Creek/Munsee).  She has a new book out on her life up to the Miss America pageant, its called “Muscogee Daughter” and is a no-holds barred account of her troubled young life and how she turned it around.  Following that is an interview with Dr. David Martinez (Gila River Pima) who discusses new trends in Native life in America.  The show is capped off with a tribute to Dr. Mary Jo Watson (Seminole).  She received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Paseo Arts Association.  She is Director of the OU Art School.
