Oklahoma Voices: Three Wise Men and Alzheimer's (Dec 13, 2010)

On this episode of Oklahoma Voices, we talk to two authors with Oklahoma connections. First we’ll hear from Brent Landau. He teaches in the religious studies department at the University of Oklahoma.

Landau has translated, for the first time in English, an ancient manuscript that tells the Christmas story from the perspective of the strangers, the three kings, traveling from the east. His new book about this story is called, The Revelation of the Magi.”

In the second interview, we talk with Gary Reiswig, the author of the book The Thousand Mile Stare…

His family has an inherited form of Alzheimer’s disease that has helped researchers learn more about the illness. I talked with him in March in the KGOU studios.
