Thousands Expected in Downtown OKC Dec. 31 (Dec 28, 2010)

Maneuvering through downtown Oklahoma City’s Project 180 construction areas could be a challenge for revelers attending the Opening Night festivities New Year’s Eve.

But event organizers say it shouldn’t be too hard to get to one of the several event venues, as long as people plan ahead.

About 75,000 people are expected downtown for Opening Night, a Thunder basketball game and a Flaming Lips concert all downtown December 31st.
