Oklahoma Under State of Emergency (Feb 01, 2011) OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Gov. Mary Fallin has declared a state of emergency for all 77 Oklahoma counties in wake of a major winter storm. Fallin made the declaration Monday. It gives the state a system to allow local governments to be reimbursed for costs related to the storm. The order is also a first step toward seeking federal aid if it's needed. The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for much of the state that will be in effect until 6 p.m. Tuesday. Forecasters are predicting the storm will bring as much as a foot of snow to parts of Oklahoma along with bitterly cold temperatures.
