Winter Storm Closes Airports (Feb 01, 2011)

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Oklahoma's major airports are closed and parts of interstates shut down as a massive blizzard whips snow, sleet and ice through much of the state. Flights are expected to resume in Oklahoma City by 10 a.m. Wednesday.

The storm is expected to dump up to 20 inches of snow across Oklahoma.

No serious accidents have been reported. The snowpack caused the partial collapse of a roof at the Hard Rock Casino outside Tulsa.
