OKCPD Reports First Homicide of 2011 (Feb 03, 2011) OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Oklahoma City police say one man is dead and no one is in custody in what officers say is the city's first homicide of 2011. Sgt. Gary Knight says 33-year-old Jeremy Daniel McKinney was found shot to death in his home about 11:35 p.m. Wednesday. Knight says officers were investigating reports of a burglary and a shooting at the home. Knight says investigators believe two men forced their way into McKinney's home in an attempted robbery then shot him when he began to fight them. « back |
