Okla. Judge Charged with Fraud Returns to Work (Feb 04, 2011) OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — An Oklahoma County judge who is charged with her husband with fraud and perjury has returned to work. District Judge Tammy Bass-LeSure returned to the Oklahoma County Courthouse Thursday morning. Bass-LeSure had previously announced plans to take a leave of absence - but told The Oklahoman that she will do what she was elected to do and will fight to clear her name. Bass-LeSure and her husband — Karlos — are accused of claiming foster care reimbursement from the state for children who didn't live with them. Bass-LeSure handles probate and guardianship cases. « back |
