Okla. Legislature Set to Convene (Feb 07, 2011)

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - The Oklahoma Legislature will convene formally at noon Monday and Gov. Mary Fallin will deliver her first State of the State address at about 12:30 p.m.

Fallin is the state's first Republican governor in eight years.  In her speech, Fallin is expected to outline her priorities and present her balanced budget proposal to the Legislature.

Republicans now hold a 70-31 advantage over Democrats in the House and a 32-16 majority in the Senate.

KGOU will air Fallin's speech in its entirety thanks to our partners at OETA - The Oklahoma Network.
