Rain Falls Across Oklahoma (Apr 24, 2011)

McALESTER, Okla. (AP) — Severe weather has brought beneficial rainfall to parts of Oklahoma, but there have been no reports of injuries or significant property damage.

The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for Haskell, Pittsburg and Sequoyah counties, but there was no confirmation of a touchdown Sunday afternoon.

Pittsburg County Emergency Management Director Trent Myers says spotters saw four funnel clouds pass overhead, but they never reached the ground. Myers says there was a report of part of a barn lying on the side of a road.
