Fall 2007 Episode 5 - Centennial Audio Narrative (Dec 13, 2007)
This week, Assignment: Radio presents an audio narrative that takes a look at several ways Oklahoma's State Centennial was celebrated throughout the area. We look at the National Weather Service's 100 Years of Oklahoma Weather program, head to Guthrie for the official Centennial Parade, spend time in an Oklahoma City hospital with relatives of an official "Centennial Baby," visit the Oklahoma River for a boat race through Bricktown, and follow The Pride of Oklahoma as they travel to New York City to march in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
