CHICKASHA, Okla. (AP) — Authorities say crews are searching for injured or trapped people in Grady County after an apparent tornado went through the area.

Deputy emergency management director Paulette Nicholas says the storm hit Chickasha Tuesday afternoon and left significant damage on the south side.

Nicholas says she didn't know yet about injuries or have more detailed information about damage.

At least four people have been confirmed dead as tornadoes and severe storms moved through Oklahoma.
