Indian Times: Suicide Prevention (May 28, 2011)
This week on Indian Times,  Suicide is the third leading cause of death among youths  10-24 years of age in the US.  Oklahoma’s youth suicide rate is 31% higher than the national rate, and Native American youth suicide rate is 66% higher than the national rate.  Debbie Blasiar is a Prevention Specialist and Training coordinator for the Southwest Prevention Center at the University of Oklahoma.
