Oklahoma Voices: Baxter Black (Jun 27, 2011)

If you’re a longtime listener to Morning Edition, you’re likely to recognize the voice of the guest on this edition of Oklahoma Voices, Baxter Black. He is the cowboy poet, philosopher and former large animal veterinarian who the New York Times describes as “probably the nation’s most successful living poet."

Black came to the KGOU studios recently to introduce his most recent venture, a self-help book focusing on his career as an entrepreneur, Lessons form a Desperado Poet.
